She was raised by her single mother, alongside the guidance and support of her grandparents at Hamots'oane, Leribe.

Her early education was obtained at St. Philips Mots’oane School, where she also started her path into the beauty industry using makeup.
Her interest in makeup artistry and beauty encouraged her to pursue education in this field around 2019, motivated by the need to find job and the desire to continue her own creative endeavors.

In 2020, after getting married and relocating to Mafeteng Hamat'saba, She encountered a personal challenge when her child developed a skin condition, which ignited a motherly instinct to find a solution.

This was a turning point in her life that encouraged her to explore more into skincare and concentrate on making products that were not only safe and efficient but also mostly made of organic, natural components.

She then created her own products, including glycerin and Vaseline and launched her brand, "Glitz & Glam".

‘’The name ‘’Glitz & Glam’’ came from my Christian name which is Gladys, and it was a good fit because it also describes attractiveness which can be associated with my products.’’ She says.

These aren't your typical skincare products as she innovated them by using aloe (blue agave) and prickly pear extracts to create her own special blends.

The plant prickly pear, which has healing and enduring qualities became the main ingredient in her line of products.

She mixed aloe with natural prickly pear ingredients to enhance the calming and moisturizing properties of her Vaseline and glycerin.

Prickly pears are an effective ingredient in the treatment of a variety of skin diseases because they are high in vitamins along with essential oils.

Glycerin and Vaseline from Glitz & Glam is made with special attention for delicate and problematic skin.

“Glitz and Glam should be a big cosmetic brand in Lesotho because it helps with a lot of skin problems and people will really enjoy using it” She says.

Her goods are safe for both adults and children because they are made to suit the needs of the whole family.

By focusing on organic and plant-based ingredients, she has created skincare solutions that nourish and protect which make them an ideal choice for anyone suffering from skin discomforts like eczema, sun damage, and other irritations.

Glitz and Glam’s Vaseline and glycerin can currently be found in MILCO.

‘’I would like to expand my reach and grow my brand to a point where it is on shelves all over the country. This would also help Basotho gain these important benefits.’’ She says.

Her ultimate goal is to make her prickly pear-based products a household name recognized not only for their effectiveness but also for their deep connection to natural, organic farming and local resources.

She desires of Basotho appreciating these natural solutions, finding relief and comfort in her carefully developed products.

Her innovative use of prickly pear and aloe to create products that address real skin problems has not only set her brand apart but also highlighted the potential of Lesotho's natural resources.
