She grew up in Ha Abia and born into a family of four. Her upbringing was influenced by her parents' ambitious nature as they were both farmers and business owners.

She made some pocket money over the school holidays by selling oranges around the village with her younger brother. Her desire to launch her own brand and a deep interest for business were inspired through these childhood experiences.

Her passion for business and her background in agriculture led her to pursue a career in agro-processing.

‘’I watched various YouTube videos seeking inspiration and tried several products, but none were quite right. Then, my son Katleho (Kay) and I came up with the idea of making peanut butter.’’ She says.

The process of developing the perfect peanut butter was anything but straightforward. She and her son spent countless hours experimenting with various recipes, refining and improving the formula until it met their high standards. 

Each attempt brought them closer to the premium product they planned on producing, and this process eventually gave birth to their brand named “Kay Goodies.” 

Not only was it important to make a tasty spread, but it also had to be of the best quality, rich in nutrients, and able to boost good health in general.

 

Her drive for outstanding qualities led her to decide in doing an extensive study on peanuts and their health advantages, which raised the standard of her peanut butter.
